In 2013, Thaamir was the head judge of the Mr South Africa competition and featured in the the 13 episode Reality TV show based on the lives of the top 12 finalists. He also hosted and presented the Sales Reality TV show, SellHard and season 1 co-hosted by Tracy McGregor was aired on DSTV 263 in South Africa. Season 2 was co-hosted by Mishka Patel and was aired on OpenViewHD. The purpose of the sales reality show was to find and showcase raw sales talent on National TV. The prize being a trip to Istanbul and a job offer as a Sales Executive, Manager or even Director. The show was produced by his production company GetunedMedia.com.

After being the youngest finalist in a Mr. South Africa competition in 2000, Thaamir Moerat started his modeling and TV career with the Good Hope FM commercial and was immediately booked for a British based TV production of The classic book “The Coral Island” where he played the Character Romata. He appeared in numerous TV and still commercials for brands like Total Sports, Reebok, Nike, BOE, Pep Bank, Ackermans, Tesco in the UK, Lays, BP, Clicks, Edgars, Tux Tailor, Pepper Club Hotel, SportSA, VIB Hotel, Vert, Isa Leo and was the face of The Captain Morgan Spiced Gold Mr Nightlife campaign.
